Today I would like to give you a little tip for staying overnight. If you want to spend a few days in Cancún because you have friends in Cancún, are backpacking or something similar, I can recommend the hotel “Rivemar”.
The Hotel
The hotel is a small hotel in the center of Cancún, located directly on one of the most important streets of Cancún (Avenida Tulum). The hotel has a great price of only about 14 EUR (16,5 USD / 353 Pesos) per night and leaves nothing to be desired for this price.
The hotel has very large rooms, which are furnished with the most important things. In the room you have a big bed, air conditioning, a table with two chairs, a big mirror, a safe, an LCD TV and free WLAN. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink and is equipped with shampoo, soap, etc.
The rooms are very clean and are cleaned daily.
The staff is always friendly, so I always felt comfortable in the hotel.
I have spent 19 nights in the hotel, since January 2020.
The hotel does not have a restaurant and therefore does not offer breakfast or similar. Since the hotel is located in the center of Cancún, there are restaurants in the immediate vicinity. A very good restaurant where you can have breakfast is located about 10 meters from the hotel entrance.
The location
The hotel is located directly on Avenida Tulum in the center of Cancún. The Avenida is one of the most important streets of Cancún. Here you can find a lot of restaurants, banks, supermarkets, etc. In addition, you have one of the most important bus stops right in front of the door, from where buses go to the hotel zone, to the beautiful beaches, or to the big shopping centers.
