Today I would like to give you another insider tip for staying overnight if you travel in a larger group or if you want to make a celebration, for example bachelor party.
In the hotel zone of Cancún you will find a beautiful old house at kilometer 8, directly at the lagoon. This luxury vacation home has a great charm and can also be reached by yacht, as it has its own jetty.
The house
The house is a slightly older villa with a large plot of land, which is located directly at the lagoon “Nichupté”. The style of the villa is very luxurious. The villa is fenced all around, so that you have a lot of privacy. You can enter the property through a large entrance gate or door, but you can also enter the villa by boat or yacht, as it has its own landing stage.
If you enter the property on foot or by car, you will come to the front yard of the villa. Here there are 3 parking spaces for cars, but there are certainly more than 5 cars on the property.
There is a main entrance door to the villa and a staff entrance that can be reached directly from the parking spaces. There is also access to the garden from the parking lots.
The house is equipped with central air conditioning and the rooms can be cooled down to a pleasant 22 degrees.
Kitchen, dining room, living room, cinema, guest toilet and relaxation room are located on the first floor. The 5 bedrooms as well as a bedroom for staff are on the upper floor. The house is equipped with an elevator, which can be used if necessary.
The rooms
The house is designed for 16 people. It has 5 air-conditioned bedrooms which are all equipped with a ceiling fan. 3 rooms have their own fully equipped bathroom. In addition, there is a room for a waitress, which also has its own bathroom.
All bathrooms are equipped with towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper, so you don’t have to take care of it yourself.
3 of the bedrooms have direct views of the lagoon.

The dining area
In the dining area there is a large table with 5 chairs and a bench where you can eat together. From the dining table you have a view of the pool and the lagoon.
The living room
The living room is next to the dining area and has a large corner sofa and a mini bar. There is also a billiard table and a foosball table in the hall between the open dining area and the open living room.
The kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. In addition, the kitchen has a large refrigerator with freezer, a water dispenser that provides both hot and cold water, a microwave, an oven, a gas hob with 6 cooking surfaces, a toaster, a blender and a coffee machine.
The cinema
In the cinema there is a sofa, which can also be folded out into a sofa bed. In the cinema there is a large LCD television with internet connection, so that you can watch Netflix, etc. In addition, there is a Sky receiver connected to the TV set, which can be used to watch Sky. There is also a popcorn machine in the cinema with which you can serve fresh popcorn. The cinema is also air-conditioned.
Parking facilities
There are 3 parking spaces in the courtyard of the villa, but there is easily room for at least 5 cars in the courtyard. In addition, more cars can be parked on the street in front of the house.
The garden / The terrace
A large sliding door leads to the terrace or garden. Here you will find a large pool, various tables and chairs and sunbeds at the pool and at the lagoon. You have the possibility to sunbathe directly at the pool, at the lagoon or on the large lawn area. The lawn area can also be used for various sports like soccer, badminton, yoga, or similar.
The lagoon
At the lagoon there is a landing stage where you can moor your yacht directly. You can also use this jetty to be picked up directly from the yacht during an excursion.
It is not possible to swim in the lagoon, because there are many crocodiles. With a little luck you can see the crocodiles in the morning, sunbathing on a ramp at the edge of the lagoon. However, the crocodiles have no possibility to enter the property, because it is also fenced in from the lagoon side.
The security
The entire property is fenced in. There is a large entrance door with which you can enter the property on foot and a large gate with which you can enter the property by car. Both are lockable.
The rules
As already mentioned, you should not swim in the lagoon because of the crocodiles. Furthermore, the noise level should be kept within limits to avoid disturbing the neighbors.
The special services
The property manager himself provides cleaning staff and a janitor. During your stay, the rooms are cleaned daily and the pool is cleaned if necessary. If a daily complete cleaning of the rooms and the outside area should be wished, then this can be booked by an extra charge in addition.
A washing machine is also provided, which can be used if necessary. A washing kit with the necessary utensils is also available. There is also a roof terrace on which the washed laundry can be hung up.

The location
The house is located in Cancun in the hotel zone at kilometer 8, right next to a Pemex gas station.
Directly next to the Pemex gas station is a GoMart where you can quickly make small purchases. There are also a few small fast food restaurants like SushiGo and Subway, as well as a money exchange office.
